I Love Creating Awesome Ceremonies !

I Love being a celebrant and I love to celebrate love! For thirty years I have led hundreds of ceremonies that are heart filled and personalised helping those who require my services to celebrate weddings, life events and rites of passage in an unforgettable way. My journey to becoming a Celebrant started when I took my first funeral at 19 years of age.

From a young age, I have been blessed to work with many mentors of different faiths and spirituality helping me to gain great knowledge, experience, and understanding of different ways to take ceremonies.

I have used all my gifts in my celebrant work. I have worked as an Actress on stage and screen, an Inspirational Speaker, and professional Singer and so am very confident with delivery and changing of styles of delivery if required.

I am often requested to sing during ceremonies if required, having starred in musicals in the West End and I love to do this. One of my favourite things is to sing a blessing at a wedding or funeral unaccompanied.

For the past 20 years, I have also been a writer, poet, filmmaker, elder campaigner on dignity, compassion, and end of life care. My films and training packs are used around the world to implement profound change as are my books the heart of care and the carers bible for souvenir press.

This work has enabled me to have great empathy and understanding in taking celebrations of life ceremonies and funerals as a celebrant.

More than green funerals…

I also work often as a soul midwife and bring words of comfort and song to those who are dying.

I created my CD “I AM NEAR YOU” – a collection of songs, meditations and poetry for those who are dying or challenged with illness or loneliness and this too helps me with my celebrancy work.

I have worked with bereaved families and especially those who have experienced the suicide of a child creating ceremonies to help them process the loss and rebuild their lives and connection once more.

For the past 20 years, I have been asked to provide spiritual counseling and feel immense gratitude at being able to assist where I can.

I adore being out in nature, taking ceremonies in the great outdoors and have led rites of passage ceremonies for children and teenagers and corporations too as well as memorials, burials, and weddings.

I greatly enjoy empowering women through transitions and have led many women”s ceremonies and rites of passage and am an accredited red tent leader. I have led ceremonies around the world and have loved to meet wonderful people and learn so much on my travels.

In May 2018 I had my own radio show on Women’s Radio A LIFE OF CELEBRATION where I shared ways on how to celebrate more, love more, live more based on my life as a celebrant with other inspiring guests.

I spend many hours preparing every service/ ceremony I write and conduct, offering you a professional and personalised ceremony and I look forward to sharing my expertise with you and creating something memorable.

I was delighted to train to a very high degree with FOIC (Fellowship of Independent Celebrants) as a family Celebrant.

Although based in Sussex and London I travel nationally and internationally. I will be thrilled to be the perfect choice for your event, wherever it may be.

Whether it is an elaborate wedding or an intimate gathering over a single candle when the right intentions are set profound and beautiful changes can occur and the expression of the heart in ceremony allows for a greater flow of love with our loved ones.
